CAASPP Support

California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) is the online testing platform California districts are required to assess students with. Students in grades 3-6 participate in the summative end of year test called the SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium) and interim assessments called IABs (Interim Assessment Blocks). These linked sites support parents in preparing students for the online testing environment.

California's CAASPP website is actually a great way to preview what the testing environment looks like. We suggest browsing some practice tests and utilizing the tools to be more familiar with expected testing practices.

This site which was built by a partnership between major educational organizations supports learning in the classroom as well as offer tips on how to prepare for online testing.

These are the universal tools that all students have access to in the CAASPP system. We teach how to use these tools to help all students feel comfortable in their testing environment.
